When I bought my Eunos (June 2016), the exhaust system looked to be in good condition but the first track day revealed a few leaks.
| My car has a stainless-steel catalyst replacement pipe installed. As the car is a 1990 imported Eunos Roadster and is registered as a Eunos (not an MX-5), this is legal in the UK and will pass an MOT without a catalyst. This is approximately 36cm long. |
I do now also own a catalyst that could be swapped for the by-pass pipe if required.

This was quite easy to fit with two people. The main issue we had was with the rubber exhaust hangers previously used on the car. These are too fat. They were all replaced with new ones of the correct size.
