Tried in vain to get one of the front ball joints out, to replace the rubber boot. Without the right tool we damaged one though :-( Hitting the threaded upright part just compressed the threads and it wouldn't budge. A lesson learnt.
Dropped the Eunos off at Retro & Modern Automotive Ltd (was Suffolk Mazda), to get the front ball joint rubbers done. They are replacing the lower ball joints completely on both sides.
![]() | Finally got round to getting my new trackday wheels and tyres out of storage to fit them to the Eunos :-) |
![]() | They look so much better than the other wheels :-) |
After a quick test drive wiht my Dad it is clear the new tyres are a massive improvement. The car rides much better and they is a lot more grip. The tyres have completely transformed the handling.
Preparing the car this weekend for its longest run yet. Have a pass to exhibit it at the Goodwood Breakfast Club next weekend! It's a Japanese car meet called Sushi Sunday.
Found out the Goodwood Breakfast Club meet has been cancelled due to waterlogged car parks :-(
