Dropped the Eunos off today for her first MOT under our ownership. It passed :-) Had advisories for the front ball joint rubbers, so they have been ordered. The fog light switch also doesn't have a visible indicator on it and it should do. I'm going to try and find a second-hand one to fix this.

New ball joint boots The ball joint rubber boots arrived from MX5 Parts.

New illuminated fog light switch Picked up a replacement illuminated fog light switch from Retro & Modern Automotive Ltd (was Suffolk Mazda). I'm going to use the removed switch to control the heated rear window in the hardtop but I need to install all the wiring and a relay to do this.
New illuminated fog light switch It should be very easy to swap over with a simple plug/socket connector. Unfortunately that was not the case in my car.

The power to the existing fog light switch was cut from the proper connector and fixed to this switch using a 6.3mm blade connector. Another 6.3mm blade connector was then used to run a red wire all the way back through the car, into the boot and down to the added fog light. I'm guessing this was done because the previous owner could work out where the red-green wire went and so they couldn't use it to connect the fog light.

I reused the connector and simply swapped the green-yellow pin for a new one on the end of the red wire that runs to the fog light.

New terminal in connector The existing plug is also missing an earth wire to pin 3 though and this is used to actually light up the orange indicator. This is easy to add though as these are fairly standard locking crimp connectors used on these types of automotive sockets. The other end of this has a 6mm ring terminal on it and there is a very convenient 6mm threaded bolt fixed to the metal structure behind the dash.
Finished installation And this is the finished installation showing the orange light inside the switch. The only issue I've found is that this fog light comes on with side lights only as well as headlights but I'm not going to try and fix this. The other two switches shown here are dummy switches. I'm going to use the 'old' fog light swithc to control the heated rear window on the hard-top.

Back from a holiday in Monaco :-) Changed the brake fluid and the feel has come back into the brakes and the pedal travel is much reduced. The bleed nipples opened up OK, though the front ones are in a bit of a state and need changing really. A few of the bleed nipple covers were missing so these have been replaced.
